Get JaydLive in PowerPoint, the easy way

One small download puts the JaydLive pane inside PowerPoint — no settings menus, no IT ticket. It runs on each presenter machine in about a minute. Pick your computer:

Windows gets JaydLive-Setup.bat; a Mac gets Install-JaydLive-Mac.command. Every presenter machine needs its own run — it only takes a minute each.

After you download — 3 steps

Run the file you downloaded — double-click it. A small window walks through the setup and says DONE when it finishes.
Windows: if a blue box says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. It is a one-time prompt — it shows because the plugin is not officially signed yet (signing arrives at launch), and the file comes straight from this site.
Mac: if macOS will not open the file because it is from an unidentified developer, right-click the file → Open → Open. Also one-time, same reason. If double-clicking only opens the file as text, use that same right-click → Open.
Close PowerPoint completely, then open it again. On a Mac, quit with Cmd+Q — closing the window is not enough.
On Windows: click Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins, open the Developer Add-ins section, then JaydLive for PowerPoint → Add. On a Mac: click Insert → Add-ins and pick JaydLive for PowerPoint. The pane opens on the right side of PowerPoint. Type your event code (try DEMO) and present.

Taking it off a machine

Windows: download and run JaydLive-Uninstall.bat — it removes the plugin and the settings it added. Mac: delete manifest.xml from ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Powerpoint/Data/Documents/wef/.
